The Irish shows Association and Swinford Show society present the All Ireland final of the Heavy Breeding Pair Championship, Qualifying for All Ireland Final to be held in Swinford Show on Sunday 25th Aug 2024.

Rules & conditions; 

1. The Soft Feather final is open to all Soft Feather; Heavy Breeding Pairs ie; Belgian, Dutch, Japanese, Pekin, Rosecomb, Seabright, Booted, Nankin & Ohiki. 

2. No more than two pairs form each Qualifying Show, will be eligible to compete in the final. 

3. Individual competitors may qualify no more than one pair for the final. 

4. Chickens qualifying for entry in the final may not be entered in any other class at Swinford Show.  

5. The chickens must be penned in the cages provided at the showgrounds by 10.30am. 

6. Winners to be announced at 2pm. 

7. These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish Shows Association Rules and Swinford Agricultural Show rules. 

8. No Bedding allowed in show cages. 

9. Exhibitors must be the owners and be present at the final. 

10. Entry fee To Qualifying Show €3; To the Final €6

Prizes; 1st €200, 2nd €150, 3rd €100, 4th €60, 5th €40, 6th to end €20
